"Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing that we will ever do"
                          - Brené Brown

A bit about therapy

I believe therapy should be a collaborative process with the aim of building psychological resilience and enabling healing and recovery.  To facilitate this I frequently use Acceptance & Commitment Therapy or Cognitive Behavioural Therapy  however I will also draw from my experience with other modalities such as Compassion Focussed Therapy and Mindfulness, to tailor treatment to the specific needs of a client.

I offer therapy to individuals over 18 seeking help for mental health difficulties including anxiety, depression and PTSD. I am also pleased to offer support during life transitions and periods of uncertainty.

At the initial appointment, an assessment is carried out to gain an understanding of the difficulties which have brought you to therapy. A treatment plan is then proposed and agreed.  Subsequent appointments aim to help you reach your therapy  goals in the shortest possible time.
